Ben Thornely grew up as a missionary kid in Brazil — the start of his many years in missions-based ministry. 

Ben has a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education from Manhattan Christian College and a Master of Business Administration from Sullivan University. He worked at Southeast Christian Church — one of the largest churches in the U.S. — in Louisville, Kentucky for 18 years before coming to Wycliffe. During his years at Southeast Christian Church, Ben traveled to more than 40 countries and focused on connecting with indigenous partner organizations around the world on developing, funding and executing a variety of projects. 

Ben and his wife, Lindsay, have three kids and one perfect dog. They enjoy spending time outdoors, playing and watching just about any sport and watching movies.
