Rebecca Gonzalez began serving with Wycliffe in 2022. Her family’s extensive engagement in local church ministry developed her passion for the church, discipleship and the gospel. As a bilingual/bicultural professional, Rebecca understands the importance of language and translation, and the joy of communicating and hearing the gospel in a language and format people clearly understand.
Rebecca has worked with mission-driven organizations at the local and national level such as World Vision, Walgreens, Bethesda Christian Center, Einstein’s Brothers Bagels, Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and Northwestern Chrysler Plymouth Sales. In her over 25 years of service through these entities, Rebecca has nurtured her leadership skills and yielded a foundation in the areas of strategic leadership, communication, resources management and church operations.
Rebecca holds a Master of Management in Nonprofit Administration from North Park University. She and her husband, Jorge, have two boys: Luiz and Daniel. With her family, Rebecca has provided logistical support for ministry, mission and community development projects in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
