At least some translated Scriptures are available in almost a third of the more than 65 languages spoken in the Solomon Islands. Through her ministry in Scripture Engagement, Cynthia is helping Solomon Islanders develop tools and resources that allow them to interact with the Word in their own language in their daily lives.

Cynthia is helping equip Solomon Islanders to produce audio recordings of Scripture that can be put on phones or audio devices. Over the past few years, Cynthia has played a vital role in helping provide training for Solomon Islanders in Bible-based Trauma Healing techniques and Scripture Application Leadership Training (SALT). Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
