The Wycliffe Ministry of

Dwight and Gwynne are serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators to bring the Word of God to the people of South America. In 2021 they finished a season of administering teams of Bible translators in West Asia.

In 2022 they began serving again in the Americas. Gwynne is the HR Admin for the Americas. Dwight has a role consulting various projects in Peru. One is the Old Testament project for the Nomatsiguenga people where Dwight's parents finished the New Testament in 1981. Another is helping consult books in the Lambayeque Quechua Old Testament. This is the people group with whom Dwight and Gwynne finished the New Testament in 2005.

Dwight also serves as the America South Translation Services Team Leader. This includes supervising consultants, allocating consultants to projects, and helping mentor and train new consultants.

However, Dwight and Gwynne cannot accomplish God’s mission alone. They need you, the family of Christ, to gather around them and walk with them on this journey as they work in their various roles and share Christ’s love among the people of the Americas.

They would like to invite you to partner with their Wycliffe Ministry financially and through prayer as they live and work in the U.S. and travel twice a year to Peru.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
