Doug and Wendy started serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators back in 1993 after being called by the Lord to serve as a MK (Missionary Kid) teacher in Guatemala, Central America. After the Whites' youngest son was born with special needs, they knew their time serving in Guatemala was limited.

 

In 2003, Doug accepted an administrative position in Wycliffe as the Project Funding Coordinator for Wycliffe’s work in the Americas where he managed institutional funding for Bible translation, Literacy, Scripture Use, and Training projects throughout the Western Hemisphere.

 

In 2016, Doug became Wycliffe’s Member-Raised Funds (MRF) Field Services Project Coordinator. In this role, Doug ensures that donations raised in the U.S. can be sent to approved MRF projects worldwide that have met Wycliffe’s charitable purposes and planning requirements.

 

Doug and Wendy are very grateful for the opportunity to serve with Wycliffe and are thankful for the many friends and family that have partnered with them for more than 30 years. Serving in the world wide Bible translation movement with Wycliffe has been a blessing and an honor.
