There are 7388 known living languages in the world. Over 128 million people, using 1680 different languages are waiting to for initial Bible translation work to begin. Bible translation not only provides written Scriptures, but it meets the deepest needs of people by helping them to flourish in their communities using the language they value most through education and engagement with Scripture.

After serving in Papua New Guinea for more than 7 years, Tim & Tara were asked to use their skills and field experience to work with teams who are working toward bring the Word of God to all nations. Tim recruits IT workers to use their skills and gifts to accelerate the work of Bible Translation. He uses his experience from the field and his passion for reaching the lost to help others see how God wants to use them in ministry. Tara is assigned to SIL (sil.org), a partner organization of Wycliffe, on the Global HR Team to support the work of Bible translation in various contexts and countries around the world. Her experience from working in HR overseas and passion for serving Bible translation, gives her the ability to connect and support staff and leaders around the world.
