Since joining Wycliffe in 1994, Lawrence and Melanie have served in West Africa and the Philippines. Lawrence enjoys meeting one-on-one with Wycliffe colleagues and Bible translators-in-training in several different countries to improve their English through an online English as a Second Language (ESL) program. English language fluency is important for biblical and linguistic studies and for communication with colleagues from other countries.

Melanie serves the needs of Wycliffe members and other missionaries in the International Health Services in Dallas and in encouraging prayer for Bible translation and literacy work in the Philippines.
