“Do you regret the decision you made to leave your position as Captain Engineer with your city’s Fire Department and your comfortable lives in Colorado?” When asked this question, the Shidelers’ response is, “nope; not even a little bit!” Seeing how God clearly led them to join Wycliffe in 1993, travel to Cameroon, Africa, to serve in the task of Bible translation for 14 years before returning to the US in 2007, they are humbled by how God has used them in the effort to make His living Word accessible to so many. While Brett is now retired, Marla continues to be energized by by her role as a Resource Coordinator with Wycliffe USA.
