Having served as staff workers and in leaderships roles on the field, the Alaichamys understand firsthand the needs and challenges of field work. Using this experience, they are now working in strategic and crucial support roles to further the task of Bible translation.

Felise is currently serving as Photojournalist on our global Church Engagement team and also as photographer for one of our Asia regions. She has been traveling to photograph projects with the goal of presenting translation and related work to a wide audience. The goal is to mobilize people around translation work, scripture use, and church relationships.

Shalom is currently serving as Area Psychologist for one of our Asia regions, as well as Strategy Leader for Mental Health at the global level. As a licensed psychologist, Shalom provides counseling, crisis support, consultation for leaders and other services on the field. In his global leadership role, Shalom helps develop tools and strategies to monitor and support staff wellbeing across the organization.
