From Seattle, Washington, Alex is a linguist, translator facilitator, and translation consultant. From Lima, Peru, Patty is an educational psychologist with a deep passion for Christian missional education and discipleship. Together, they serve in Huánuco, Peru among the Quechua peoples, combining their gifts to further Bible translation and Scripture engagement.

 

Many Quechua language communities have a complete New Testament and are eager for the fullness of God’s Word! Old Testament translation is underway, and Alex works closely with local teams to support and guide this process. Alex and Patty are committed not only to translation, but also to helping communities interact with Scripture in transformative ways. Patty contributes to the ministry through caring for their growing family, their home, and helping the translation teams in any way she can.
