“We want to follow Jesus, but we don’t know how.” Bridget heard these words in 2019 in a rural African church as people gathered early on a Wednesday morning to pray before work. God used that meeting to confirm Bridget’s calling to join in the work He is doing, giving His Word to people in a language and form they understand.

 

Bridget’s love for linguistics began in elementary Latin class. A few years later, when teaching a Sunday School class on Bibleless people groups, she read from Romans 10: “How can they believe in whom they have not heard...” and her zeal for Bible translation was ignited!

 

Bridget has served in West Africa as a linguist and workshop facilitator and plans to obtain additional training to equip others. She is currently on home assignment in the US, so please, get in touch if you want to hear more.
