The Wycliffe Ministry of

George and Deb have worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators almost 40 years, 23 years in Papua New Guinea. George worked as Aviation Parts Manager and Deb worked in the Clinic, School, and lead a Puppet Ministry with mission teens.

Due to family reasons, they have extended their time in the USA. Their assignment is at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, N.C. George works remotely from Texas as the International Aviation Parts Buyer. It is challenging work to get aircraft parts around the world quickly, to keep the airplanes flying in remote locations for Bible translation work.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
