Del and Jean are passionate about the needs of millions of people who have yet to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ in the language and form that best speaks to their heart.

 

The Archers continue Jean's family's legacy in serving Bibleless People. Jean's parents were among the first Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea.

 

Del and Jean are excited to once again pioneer an exciting new paradigm initiative within Wycliffe USA's ongoing ministry efforts for the young adult children of our missionary colleagues (MK's)!

Young adult missionary kids (MKs) often navigate the start of their adult life in the U.S. while their parents are serving in Bible translation in overseas locations. Because of this, they often need cultural coaches, mentors and places to stay. The Archer's new assignment will be to help coordinate the recruitment and training of Wycliffe member and volunteer staff who will host and/or mentor our young adult MKs.

 

The Archers have served in a variety of roles within Wycliffe - including recruitment, stateside internships, and coordinating volunteers supporting Bible translation efforts in the Philippines, Asia and the USA.

Their new role on Wycliffe USA's Young Adult MK Care Team will require all the giftings and experience that God has provided them throughout their 20+ year career.
