Doug and Ruth's passion is to eradicate Bible poverty in the 21st Century. After 2,000+ years there are still over one thousand five hundred language communities around the world without even one verse of the Bible translated into their language. These groups have no opportunity to be fed or stirred by God’s Word. The only way to eradicate Bible poverty in our generation is if the body of Christ works together like never before.

One of Doug’s main roles is to connect the body of Christ in Latin America to the ministry of Bible translation worldwide. We live in a day that is experiencing the greatest acceleration in the pace of Bible translation in all history.

Doug and Ruth welcome you to join them in this great work however God leads you. Together we are getting closer and closer to the finish line where everyone will have access to God’s Word!

Wycliffe Ministry Budget

Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
