The Fixes’ desire and call is to eradicate the Bible-less community. To work toward this goal, Jonathan and Jenny joined Wycliffe in 2013.

Jenny received her M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Dallas International University (DIU) and is passionate about helping translation teams with linguistic issues. Jonathan received an M.A. in Ancient Philology focusing on teaching the Biblical Languages from the Polis Institute in Jerusalem and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics also from DIU and loves equipping nationals and fellow missionaries to do the work of Bible translation.

From 2015-2018, they served as linguists and Bible translation advisors in Papua New Guinea. They are now serving in several areas from the US, as instructors with DIU, as well as creating teaching materials to train missionaries & mother tongue translators in the biblical languages. Through these roles, they are partnering with the work of Wycliffe to translate the Holy Scriptures into languages that still do not have access to God’s word in a language that speaks to the heart.
