God has given Kiersten a deep love for his Word which has impacted her life significantly. Because of the hope and encouragement she has received from God’s Word, she is excited to work with Wycliffe to reach out to those who are still without. 171 million people, speaking 2,115 languages are still waiting for translation to start!

The Ethnologue, a comprehensive reference work of all the known living languages of the world, is a very important tool used by Bible translators to determine the most effective means of reaching these language groups. Kiersten’s assignment with Wycliffe involves helping with research for the Ethnologue at their headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

While working full-time for the Ethnologue, Kiersten is also a part-time student at Dallas International University working toward a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics with a concentration in Bible Translation. After she completes her degree, she hopes to serve in a translation-related role overseas. She would love to talk with you about partnering with her Wycliffe ministry.
