Daniel & Rachel Lewis
Their journey began in 2016 when God revealed to them that they could use their gifts as teachers to support the work of Bible translation by providing quality, Christian education to missionary kids. This is an essential ministry that enables families to continue their work in the surrounding community knowing their children are receiving educational services.
This vision has taken them to Ethiopia where they served for five exciting years and now to Indonesia where they have been serving at Hillcrest School since 2022.
Dan is serving as a high school Bible teacher, currently teaching doctrine, ethics, and New Testament survey. In this position he does more than teach God’s truth. He is able to disciple and guide youth as well as support their whole family.
Rachel is at home with Timothy and Kara. As a family, the Lewis’ are building an intentional community focused on drawing near to God.
