Mark retired from Wycliffe after 25 years of ministry, effective on May 31, 2022. His ministry spanned from living embedded in South Asian culture to working remotely and supporting work in Australia and Timor. Lori and Mark began working with Wycliffe in 1997. Their first assignment was in South Asia where they learned language and culture, and they worked on language survey. They also formed a team with national ministry partners. After 4.5 years, Mark could no longer live in South Asia, due to chronic health issues. After Lori's death, Mark worked remotely with the Australia Group as an artist and illustrator for 10 years.

Since retirement, Mark is no longer receiving income through Wycliffe, but he welcomes prayer.
