Gifted with French as a second language since a young age, Marianne joined Wycliffe in 2005 after a first career in the corporate world. She supported Bible translation and language development in Francophone Africa as a linguist and trainer until 2023.

 

During home assignment in the U.S. that year, Marianne married Craig Campbell, a retired Wycliffe member who served 20 years.

 

Marianne continues to serve an active role with Wycliffe as a Field Coordinator for the Broader Pacific area under Global Partnerships. Specifically, Marianne has a focus on French-speaking New Caledonia, working with field partners to start Bible translation projects in remaining indigenous languages there. She is currently based in the U.S. and travels to the Pacific Ocean region as needed.
