Ryan serves with SIL's Global Consultant Pool as a Bible Translation Consultant for translation projects all over the world. Consulting is a crucial part of the translation process to ensure the translated scripture is clear, accurate, and natural. Ryan is passionate about his role because he has the ability to work with multiple projects at once, which means exponentially more people can be reached with God's Word!


Alyssa is in graduate school for Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently serves as a counseling intern for Wycliffe Counseling Ministries. Counseling helps missionaries face unique challenges, develop resilience, and stay emotionally and spiritually healthy, which enables them to continue to serve effectively. Caring for missionaries well is crucial to the work of Bible translation, as healthy missionaries create healthy ministries.
