Karl & Joanna Rogers

Karl and Joanna are moving to Serbia in early 2025 with their two children to work alongside the translators of the Roma Bible translations in Serbia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Albania, and Slovakia. Karl will serve as a Translation Technology Support Specialist, and Joanna will serve as a Scripture Engagement Specialist.

 



The Rogers first interned with Wycliffe in 2015 for a sabbatical year. Afterwards they volunteered their services with Bible translation work in Mexico. Karl served in the IT department, and Joanna worked as a Spanish translator. In April 2020, Karl and Joanna became full-time missionaries! Karl continued working in the Language Technology Development department, and Joanna earned a Certificate in Scripture Engagement from Dallas International University. They also serve as Research Associates for Dallas International University.

Wycliffe Ministry Budget
Wycliffe establishes a Ministry Budget for its missionaries to reflect recurring expenses related to family factors and their geographic location of service. Giving to Wycliffe directly impacts missionaries’ ability to begin and remain in their assignment. This monthly budget covers ministry-related expenses, insurance and retirement, social security and taxes, and Wycliffe administrative costs. The remainder is what the missionaries receive as “take-home pay” for their daily living expenses.
