I want to help people meet Christ through translated Scripture.
Making New Testament portions available in their sign languages
“I now have access to Scripture anytime!”
These words express a reality emerging among the Deaf community in Spain as previous translation efforts have produced Scripture in the Spanish and Catalan sign languages.
Eighty percent of the New Testament has been drafted, and the team has already published about 30%, including Ephesians and the Gospel of Mark. Some Old Testament portions have been produced as well.
Now, in this three-year project, the team expects to publish about 30% more of the New Testament — 14 epistles and Revelation. They’ll also make progress on six other books.
Will you partner with us to continue the translation of God’s Word into the Spanish and Catalan sign languages?
Your prayers and gifts will help make more Scripture available to people in the Deaf community of Spain — in sign languages that touch their hearts!
Funds in excess of the current need will be applied to a similar project or to future needs within the same project.
