Bible Translation: Then and Now
For more than 80 years, Wycliffe and like-minded organizations have led efforts to advance Bible translation around the world. As churches increasingly take ownership and Bible translation accelerates, God continues to invite us to be a part of making His name known among the nations in new ways. Come learn how technology has created a global world and impacted how we engage with partners to accomplish God’s mission. You’ll find out how Bible translation has changed over the last 30 years and discover how you could contribute to what God is doing around the world!
David and Carleen Heath have served in Cameroon, Nigeria and the U.S since joining Wycliffe in 1992. David serves as a translation consultant and holds a Ph.D. in Bible languages. Carleen has had many roles including translation advisor and English teacher, and she has an M.A. in linguistics. In their free time David and Carleen enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with their granddaughter.
