Partnership Development: More Than A Salary
How does a missionary’s salary work? Moving from a traditional salary to a faith-based partnership team can be stressful and overwhelming. But you’re not alone! Join us to learn all you need to know about partnership development, from its biblical foundation to its day-to-day application.*
The journey doesn’t end when your team is gathered. Once your team is fully built and you begin serving in your role, you’ll continue to stay connected, offering thanks and updates on how God works through your ministry. Building a partnership team isn’t only about receiving critical support and encouragement — it’s an opportunity to invite others to get involved in what God is doing through Bible translation!
Pete and Mary Ellen Kluck served for nearly 36 years with Wycliffe, including 15 years in Cameroon. Pete then joined Wycliffe’s Partnership Development (PD) team, and for ten years, he coached many new and established Wycliffe missionaries, helping them build and maintain solid teams of prayer and financial partners. Recently retired, Pete now volunteers part-time with Wycliffe’s PD leadership team.

*Most Wycliffe missionaries receive a nontraditional salary. It comes from the gifts given in preference for their ministry by a team of financial partners, including friends, family, churches and other groups. We call this “partnership development,” and we provide extensive training and resources as you build your financial and prayer partnership team.
