Pedro is 35 years old. He is a young Tojolabal indigenous man that lives in Las Margaritas, Chiapas with his wife and daughter.

He is a Computer Systems Engineer, and he is certified in Computing Tools for Distance Education. He joined UNTI in 2017 in the area of Educational Technologies. In this area, tools are being developed to facilitate the training, education, and educational growth of indigenous translators, in order for them to increase their skills and expertise in translation. To achieve this goal, Pedro has specialized in the administration, programming, and design of the Moodle platform, through which this distance education is taught, both in Mexico and in other countries.

He is a responsible young man who is committed to indigenous communities, works with dependability and diligence, and always has a ready and willing heart.

His hobbies include: running and playing soccer.
