The Fulfulde Bible in Arabic script (1 million literates) has been printed, shipped, and dedicated! By putting these scriptures into the hands of interested Fulfulde speakers - many have come into a relationship with Christ. Now, the Hausa Bible in Arabic script (20 million literates) has also become available. In the next three years, other Arabic script Bibles in non-Arabic languages will become available to millions of people (e.g. Pulaar, Fulfulde Caka Nigeria, Fulfulde Burkina, Wolof and Kanuri Manga – representing 25 million people). For 99.5% of these people, it will be the first time they will have access to the scriptures in a form that they want to read. The opportunity before us now is to distribute these scriptures in the Sahel region (The Sahel is the geographic area immediately south of the Sahara Desert).

Our desire is to purchase these scriptures and distribute them in appropriate ways. Because there is almost no church in these Muslim Unreached People Groups, we rely on our partnerships with national mission organizations in the Sahel. We have seen the scriptures successfully distributed mainly through national believers, literacy/scripture engagement workshops and through social media programs.
