Mat & Fefe Yosef
Mat Yosef had a desire to be a Church priest from a young age. Later he attended seminary after graduation and towards the end of the seminary studies, he decided to go for Bible translation ministry. Before reaching the present BT field, he was involved in Socio-linguistic survey for 7 years.
Fefe committed her life for Bible Translation ministry while attending a mission seminar. After her post-graduation, she worked in a school at Orissa for a year. After getting married to Mat, as a family they continued the Socio-linguistic survey for two years. Then as guided by the Lord, they reached the present mission field in central India in 2007.
They are involved in Scripture Engagement activities, along with the translation team. As a family they could train several young people from this community through Oral Story Program, and most of those young people are doing full time ministry among their own people.
Presently they are actively continuing the Scripture Engagement activities: Bible Storying program, Church Based Literacy, VBS, Sunday school, Bible teaching, preparation of Christian songs in this language and facilitate the translation program by leading the team, as well as doing exegetical checking in a community called RB in central part of India.
