Rubí is 37 years old. She is from Tampico, Tamaulipas. Currently, Rubí and her husband, Edgar, live in Zacatlán, Puebla.

Rubí joined UNTI in April 2019 in the Field Programs area as a Project Analyst. Her training in linguistics, literacy, Scripture use, and economics has given her a broad understanding of the field and the needs of the various projects. She holds a master’s degree in Economics and Public Policy. In her role, Rubí analyzes and provides oversight in the development and monitoring of projects within UNTI's distinct programs to ensure that projects are well-designed and well-executed.

At UNTI, we are interested in developing comprehensive projects based on what communities need, and Rubí's experience and work are key to achieving this goal. She serves our communities with joy, and, together with the rest of the staff on the Field Programs team, she always thinks of and looks for the best ideas and opportunities to implement in the projects. She is committed to ministry and loves indigenous people.
