Our Campaign Service

This Site has numerous components and on this Site we offer different services. One of the services we offer is a campaign service (the “Campaign Service”). Through our Campaign Service you can personally notify friends and colleagues about various important and worthwhile praying and giving opportunities that are offered by Wycliffe through this Site and the Campaign Service.

The Campaign Service allows you to choose from among a number of pre-screened giving or praying opportunities that are made available by Wycliffe through this Site. After you choose a specific opportunity, you will then be directed to send an email notification to friends and colleagues. The content and subject of the email can be authored by you but approved by Wycliffe. You will be asked to provide email addresses for the individuals that you want to notify about your chosen giving opportunity. The email will be routed such that it will appear to be sent directly from your email account. If an individual signs up for a campaign, they may receive an email giving them the opportunity to learn more about Wycliffe.

In order to use the Campaign Service you must agree to the following additional terms and conditions. Your use of the Campaign Service shall be deemed to be acceptance by you of these additional terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these additional terms and conditions you should not use the Campaign Service.

  • You may not use the Campaign Service to promote or publicize any event, activity, product, service or idea other than those specifically offered by Wycliffe on this Site;
  • You may not use the Campaign Service in any illegal, libelous, or fraudulent manner, in any manner that violates or infringes upon the intellectual property rights or publicity rights of any third party, in any manner that is obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane or indecent, in any manner that may give rise to civil liability, or in any manner that may demean, defame, disparage or otherwise insult or hurt any person or entity;
  • You may not alter, change or customize the content of any email sent through the Campaign Service other than as may be permitted by Wycliffe through this Site;
  • You may not use the Campaign Service to harm or disparage Wycliffe, our members, employees, staff, officers or directors, or to harm or disparage Wycliffe’s mission;
  • You may not use the Campaign Service in any way that could be construed as violating the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 or any other state, federal or international law, rule, statute or order related to the regulation of email or electronic communications.

Wycliffe reserves the right at any time, without the need to provide notice, to cease offering the Campaign Service at any time, to alter, change or modify the Campaign Service and any related content, feature, component or attribute, to terminate your access to or right to use the Campaign Service for any reason or no reason at all and to alter or change the terms under which you are permitted to use the Campaign Service by posting such alterations to this Site. Your continued use of the Campaign Service after such alterations are posted shall be deemed to be acceptance by you of such altered terms.
